Sun Catchers & Dream Catchers
Sun Catchers- Sun catchers are reflective glass or mother of pearl pieces that is hung indoors, so that it "catches the light" from a nearby source, usually hung at windows. Sun catchers can be hung outdoors as well but they function much better when pressed up against a window to catch the rays of the sun coming through the glass.
Dream Catchers-A dream catcher is an ancient Native American hand made decoration that is hung above one's head while they sleep to catch any bad dreams that the sleeper may have. Dream catchers are commonly made from natural materials includes real bird feathers, wood, thread, fabric, and beads. Any materials can be used and one is only limited to the imagination for the designs. A common theme among all dream catchers however, is that they all have a web like pattern within their circular shape which is where the dreams are "caught".
